His research focuses on both applied communication and instructional communication with works published in a variety of peer-reviewed outlets including the Journal of Applied Communication Research, the Journal of Instructional Psychology, Basic and Applied Social Psychology, the Journal of Classroom Interaction, and Communication Education.
